I found a nice deals on Olympus Camedia C755. It seems to be a good one. But, I could not find its specifications at www.olympus.com. THere are also no reviews about it elsewhere.

Can anyone suggest me about this camera. Any suggestions/opinions would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Koger-

Olympus at time has put out a number of slightly different models for various large retailers, and marketing groups such as the C-725, C745, etc. As far as I can determine the C-755 is something more than a C-750, but less than the current C-765.

I would have to work with it for awhile to tell you exactly. I did notice that is in a C-765 body shell. 'I'll look for it but that is about what I can tell you right now. I noticed that www.buy.com had it on sale.

The best buy right now in the Olympus line is the C-8080, which they are closing out. Yes, it is more money, but worth it considering that just 3 months ago it was selling for $699.

Hi: The C755 was a re-badged batch of the C750 that was made by Olympus for exclusive sale thru Cosco Stores. It is actually identical to the C750 except that you can not print directly from the camera to the printer. (It did not have PictureBridge) If you can find one, it is a good camera. Most C750 owners really like their camera. They keep it as a backup camera even after they buy newer models.

The Olympus C-755 is a good buy if you are willing to keep your shutter speed high as you zoom out to prevent image blurring due to camera movement and if you do not have any low light level shooting aspirations. It has a hunts a lot and sometimes can not always fully focus in low light levels. It does well with flash and with the camera mounted flash bolstered by a slave flash.

I own a C755 (with is the same as the C750 here in the North America) that is from Japan (All menu are in Japanese). It is a good camera for the price I paid ($130). Good image quality. Still there is no image stablization, no low light focus assisting, slower speed. Note that the C755 here in North America is slightly different (Mainly to the body housing and some not so important function). You got to try it first.
