I'm impressed by the super macro mode. Big magnification with low distortion and no corner softness. And with a good light (no flash in SM) it's possible to obtain a very sharp image at mid apertures.
Here is a close up, not a real macro (but in SM mode).

Nice! Another reason I like digicams (like the 7070) for macro/close up work is the added DOF. btw, how much PP did you have to apply to the picture?
