Default Upgrading from a C3020

Is it worthwhile to upgrade from a C3020 to a C4000? Other than the higher resolution, what are the other major differences? The C3020 is a great camera, but the focus speed and the smartmedia write speed is just too slow.

The C4000 uses smart media and would not provide you noticeable speed difference. The 4000 has a good supermacro mode. If you need close up shots then it might be worth upgrading. The c5050 would be a good upgrade from the 3020. It has better optics, a F1.8 lens, moveable lcd, takes CF, SM, Microdrive,XD picture card, photo assist lamp, 5mp and 3X optical.

I used to have a 3020 which I sold towards my new 730.

I regret selling it as it produces beautiful clean noiseless pictures as good as any I've seen.

So as Phil says unless you want better macro keep it.
