It seems to me that those are power lines. If they appear in all of them, then that's what it is, depending on the angle that you took the pictures.

Well, the best way to find if they are, is go to the place & check it out then you will feel better if they are power lines because then you know that it is not a problem with the camera.

yeagh its looking like we are gonna have to. They do look like Power Lines but it must be an optical illusion because they look low down.

Maybe its a combination of zoom and sunlight giving an odd effect. sounds plausible eh.

If I had money to throw away, I would bet that they are power lines(Big power transmission lines) .

But since I don't have any $$ to throw away, I won't bet .

LMK when you find what it is, just out of curiosity.

Default "Power Lines"

Oh, this guy is SO 'pulling our legs'! Those definitely look like power lines to me. They even 'bow' slightly, which, to me, indicates that they are definitely not a result of a defective camera or even some error by the photographer. You said that it happened on your other pics. Where can we see those? Also, with regard to your comment that they look too low to be power lines: they don't look all that low to me. The photo looks very good, though. You can get rid of the power lines in Photo Shop, or one of the other photo editing programs. Good luck.

honest truth I panicked when I saw them. they do look very odd. I think its an optical illusion caused by zoom and lighting. they look low and in front of subjects. there broken up so bits of lines on some pics and full lines on others.

They are power lines it seems

They look like defaults on other pics

Default Not that odd really.

The first pic is taken more to the left than the second one. (look at the tree for reference) Ever had a crack in your windsheild? It doesn't take much for the light to refract a bit differently if you look at it from a few inches in any direction.
