Hello

I just purchased the olympus stylus 600 and am having trouble with focusing in the macro or supermacro mode. When i press the shutter down halfway to focus - i'll get a clear image for a split second and then the image becomes out of focus and blurred.

I'm guessing since the camera is capable of focus at the range i'm shooting ( and i see the clear image)it must be something I am doing wrong.

I've been thru a number of cameras in the past 4 months and i would really like to keep this one.

Thanks in advance.

Change your metering from Iesp to < . > spot metering should take care of it then get yoru subject in the recticle and try pushing the shutter down halfway and see if that helps.

Thanks
