Default G3 Vs Olympus C-750 UZ

I'm interested by the G3 and by the new Olympus C-750 UZ to come.
This Oly has a good zoom x 10 ( 38-> 380 mm ) with a good super-macro in a very compact product 4 m pixel , all metal . The problem of purple aberations have been reduced by the new glass lens.
The G3 has more : a LCD screen orientable but needs a telephoto x 3 to get similar zoom ( which is heavy, expensive and bulky ).
Both need wide-angle
What is your opinion ?

Well, if you're buying today the 750 isn't out yet (and won't be out until at least May). It all depends on what you want. The Canon is better for low-light with its Auto-Focus Assist Beam, but I prefer the TTL viewfinder of the 750 and the fact the 750 uses AAs. It's 6 of one, half dozen of the other.

That big beautiful 10x blows the rest away. I love that big zoom, so flexible.

I would reserve picking the Olympus C750 until I see some reveiws and sample pics. Oly produced the C720 which is not one of their better cameras.
