Default TRUEPIC examples

Hi. Can anyone explain to me WHAT REALLY truepic does?
I tought this, don't now if it's true:
If the camera has a 3.2mpix ccd. And i take a photo at 1600x1200, will the camera employ the max resolution of the ccd and downsample it to 1600x1200 so it will have more quality?
Can anyone post image examples of this?
thanks!

For Truepic info (found by typing TRUEPIC into Google.com) head to:

yeah.. i had found that link too
but seems to "biased"...
the first image is very blurred compared to a normail digicam pic.
I mean... if i have a normal picture.. and if i take a second pic with less ress, the camera will take the pic at full res and do something like a bicubic rezise to the final res.
I just wanna see real examples of that.
anyone who has a c-730...
