Hi , can anybody help or know anything about this. I have an olympus C-750 uz which I have had for just over 2 years, recently it has developed a fault, when you press the "up"of the 4 button menu pad twice, thenthe cameraturns its self off. Its very annoying as it restricts what you can do with the camera.

No, Rufus, that is a new one to me. I never had that on my C-750. But I did drop the camera, and that was the end of it.

May be you have a problem with the capacitor which keeps the settings.
Remove the battery and leave the camera without it for 24 hours.
If this does not help you go and try Olympus yahoo groups. You have to be member.
Good luck!

I think you have software problem. Try to upgrade the firmware.

In the US you can call 8885534448. To my knowledge the recall is issued on a certain serial number of cameras. There is usually another disignation for the camera if you are in another country that is in North or South America you could probably call US support. It really depends what continent you are on and can access thier respective support sites through Olympus.com and then picking region and country then support.
