Have had good luck with Olympus Refurbs. The battery charger and batteries come with refurbs.

Yes, it's a good price, but there are better ones out there for refurbished cameras. The lowest one I found that was still in stock was $428 on CNET Shopper.

My only reservation for refurbished items is that they usually come with a 90 day warranty rather than a full year. Personally, I'd get the display model at the Wal-Mart in Albany, GA for $499.96 to ensure a full year, undisputable warranty.

Now, if they were less than $400, I'd take the chance on a refurb. You pay your money and you take your chances!

I got mine band new at CompUSA for $499. For such a small difference I'd rather have a new one out of the box than a refurbished or a display model.

You are right, but are they still available? Site I memtioned above has futher discounted thier refurbs. Many sites selling refurbs have removed recharger and batteries. Add $30 to there selling price if not included.
