have you guys heard about this brand it boasts of 6.6 mp with ISO of up to 200 the specs are really good but am still not sure :roll: can you guys give advice on this or if you have any reviews about this cam...thnks!

For $850 dollars, you might want to look at the Fuji FinePix F601z instead. Fuji is clearing them out at bargain prices.

I took a look at it yesterday and can't say I'm too impressed by the specs. Like I mentioned before, the FinePix F601 seems to do the same things for a couple hundred clams less. Not to mention the severely under-powered zoom on the UMAX.
That said, UMAX is not some unknown company. They've been around making scanners and other imaging devices. It looks like they want to expand their business to cameras as well. If they can do it, it will be interesting. |
