Did you get it?

Firstly can I say a big hello all, this is my first post, perhaps my last if I don't go down too well! I have had a passion for photography for a few years, taking photos of planes landing at the local East midlands airport and surrounding landscapes, generally looking for something special to capturein every day situations.

I've had the reliable Kodak p880 for the last couple of years and with that have tried to improve my photography as a platform to DSLR. The other day I decided it was time to step up beside the big boys and went for the GX-10 with twin kit lenses.

Last night was my first little play, andattached is one of the few pictues I took (hand held through a window)... GX10 w/ 50-200mm kit lens & Hoya UV, 1/180, f8, ISO400. Appologies if a bit too sharp.

I'll now get back to taking "normal" photos and hopefully post some results!

Cheers,

Mark.

Very Nice Mark!!! You really pulled in the details in that one.
I've been dying to get some moon shots with my new camera but it's been cloudy ever since I got it. GRR!!! I do some amateur astronomy and it seems like every time I get a new scope it clouds up then too. very frustrating :P
