You must have the steadiest hands in the world to take such photos! Even the rhythm of my heart shows up in my pictures. A medical marval, to be sure.

Great photos

I'm hoping to take some firework pics this week - what settings did you use for yours - shutter speeds, metering etc... :?

Anyone else with firework shooting tips - grateful for your responses...

All I done was set the camera to manual mode, manual focus at infinity, aperture around f6 and varied the shutter speed from 1-2 seconds and lastly find a convenient wheelie bin to rest my elbows on.

These were taken in burst mode with the shutter button constantly depressed, I just waited form the sound of the shells being launched an pressed the shutter release for five or six shots.

Was it set on spot or evaluative (spelling?) metering?
