i like the composition of all 3, probably like the last shot best. the angle gives it a lil interest.

the 1st and second shot i think would look better if the sky looked a little more realistic. to me its unnaturally grey with some visible halo'ing.

These are all HDR. The sky was just plain white with some fog mixed in to make things even worse. The way the car was parked I was pretty limited to how I could shoot it. In the first shot I removed a large telephone pole shooting up from the middle of the car. In the third shot there were some other cars parked at the front end of the car. The one car was similar color to the Chevy so I removed the cars. As I was shooting the last shot the owner showed up to drive off. We chatted and I offered to send him the pics. Thinking back now I wished I had gotten him to turn the lights on. It was dreary and dark enough for them to have been quite interesting looking. Oh well next time.

i think the lighter, even white sky would work just fine.

Why at Knee level? are you that low Bynx are you a small person? I would of gotten up on it and showed the top some and Hards right brighten it up some clear the sky give some sunshine back to the classics they bring a better gleam to the person looking... why does every thing have to be so dark and deary looking? other wise the car is a hot looking classic chick and rick magnet!

The lower just brings back memories to me of being a little person with no more say that yes mommy or Daddy they do look good though but they are all on the low range I guess I would of pulled out all angles...

I walked all around the car high and low. I wanted the car and only the car without too much distractions, like the other cars etc. Getting low like that I made the car look more powerful and also cut out the junk behind it. As I said there was a large telephone pole beside the car which I had to remove. I will redo the shots today addressing the sky more. When doing HDR I dont mind a good rich sky, but I dont like the grey sooty look its creates.

Ya thats what I thought Ordo. It was driven by some old guy in a cowboy hat. He had the car for the last 28 years and planned on keeping that much longer. Seemed like a nice guy. He has a good taste in cars. And Im glad to see he has kept it in such great shape. You should have heard it as it started up and drove away. Music to my ears.
