Default Mmm, good, too :)

My wife and I can't resist posting pictures of food we took after reading SharpShotGal's post here . These are taken while having dinner in Chinatown in NY two weekends ago.

#1. Beef with Chinese Broccoli. (Chinese broccoli is $1 extra compared to American broccoli.)

#2. Artery choking fat dripping from roast ducks.

These are of course served to you via DPHDR . Thank you for looking! Sorry if we made you hungry. C&C welcome!

Well, vvcarpio - you got my appetite working, looking at your pictures!

And it is just past breakfast-time here in Norway. I just had my first cup of coffee and now my cravings go towards your first dish - it's so simple but so inviting.

HDR-Food - what's next....? HDR-drink?

I must admit, roast duck is one of my favorites too - we have it every year for Christmas-dinner!

Lol to all your comments!

SharpShotGal, I love fortune cookies too. Some don't eat them -- they just read their fortunes -- I eat mine and my wife's, too.

Walter, Ordo, and Hards80, I love roast duck, too. I think between that, chicken, and turkey, duck is the least healthy to eat. But I indulge whenever in Chinatown ordering a bowl of roast duck congee (congee is rice porridge) which I share with the whole family as soup. (In case you haven't been to Chinatown, you can share anything you order with your family -- just ask for little bowls.)

shoturtle, if I remember right it's Hsin Wong Restaurant on Bayard Street. We've been going to a different place each time since the one we've been going to for years (I forgot the name but it was on the right side of Mulberry Street if you're facing Canal Street) closed about 2-3 years ago. If you have a recommendation I'm all for it.

One time my son and I were looking for a place to eat there. We went into one also on Bayard. But the place was jampacked. So we went out again, crossed the street, and found a near empty restaurant. We thought maybe the food wasn't as great that's why the few diners. But we were surprise. Food was just as great and authentic and we enjoyed it immensely.

My son, however, would not go back there again because the walls are entirely covered with bills (real money). He said it was un-hygienic. Maybe that's why fewer people eat there we don't know.

Ordo, if I ship I'm afraid it won't be steaming hot and fresh anymore. Maybe we can just exchange hi-res desktop wallpapers of food and then torture each other to death ?
