Default Split Rock Dam

Split Rock Dam is west of the Northern Tableland ranges in an area that is still suffering dry times. Showers have given some green pick for the livestock, but no run-off for the catchment areas. Split Rock Dam is at 2% of capacity.

#1 The lookout on the approach road to the spillway and wall is the setting for a memorial to a worker accidently killed during its construction in 1986.

We look forward to returning after the drought breaks and birdlife once again flocks to Split Rock's waters.

C&C welcome.

Thank you.
