Default A Walk in the Nature Preserve

It was a beautiful day today, so I headed out for a walk. I think these were all 50D +60mm macro or 12-24, I think one was the Panny ZR1 which I had with me too.

"Looking Up"

"Fingers"

"Little Blue"

"Out of Place"

"Green"

"Lichen"

"Moss"

"Fern"

In my humble opinion I would take a mental note and shoot #1 and #5 in the fall. They are nice as it stands, but the fall colors would make them shine. Really like #3 and #4...

Ancient - thank you. this place is very close to my apartment, so it will be easy to get back there with the fall colors.

Shoturtle - thanks, this is actually a very small flower, so this was shot extremely close, given the working distance of the 60.

You have a great eye Dustin! All of these are outstanding photographs, the tree stump really does it for me, love the light and shadows!

I loved 'em all. Did you use Orton Effect on #5 (Green)? It almost looks like you "touched" it with O.E.

Bob, Gary - Thank you so much for the compliments and taking the time to look.

Nice walk. I very much like #1 and #2, but i'm not so sure about framing and vignetting on your other picks.

Excellent work on all the pics Dustin. Good overall capture illustrating the mood in each shot. Id like to see them all displayed on the wall together so I could go from one to the other.
