While I still agree that its a good shot on second thought it looks a little too much of a setup. Why is there water only on the feather? Now not to be morbid, but if the water was blood drops instead then there is a story there. The last remains of a bird who met a rather violent end. The only feather resting softly on the ground with those blood drops to remind us of its last moments. I think a few well placed drops of glycerine with red dye would have a lot more impact.
