I agree with all the comments, thus far. The first picture is "busy". One has to study it for a moment to figure out what it is. I think I have figured out the second picture. The object on the right appears to be an anchor lashed to the side of the ship. If your objective was to show the anchor, I would try a different angle so that more of the anchor is shown. If you are trying to show the detail on the side of the ship, then leave the anchor out and focus your efforts on the railing and detail work. The combination just doesn't work.
I just realized that I posted this without seeing the rest of the pictures in the thread. I especially like the full shot of the ship and the chain through the hole. The aircraft carrier shot, although very nice, doesn't go with the others. |
