Default Superbike: Ducati Desmosedici 1/12 Model Kit - Overview

This is the first one of a future serie of shots I have taken at a Ducati DesmoSedici 1/12 Scale Model Kit.

Shots have been taken at home near a window with a lamp pointing upwards and placing the model on a big white paper.
All shots have been taken without flash by mean of a pocket tripod and self-timer.

- some elements have been taken from internet ( Ducati Corse logo as well as the styled byke on the low-right part ).
- Ducati Desmosedici writing has been cut & pasted from I shot I've taken at the scale model box.
- The engine schema on the background has been taken from internet ( actually it is the schema of a Ducati 749 )
- The idea of the engine schema on the bg has been "stolen" looking at the http://www.ducati.com site ( I just added my idea of following the "profile" ). From the PS point of view it is a white on black schema that has been used as a layer in difference blend mode.

I really hate the way fotopic.net is recompressing images

WOW, good one. Doesn't look like a model at all. Very nice job.

Yes, Klaus, that's a model.

Models are nowadays much much more detailed than in the past !

Accurate painting does the rest, as well as different painting materials.

However , it is a model.

Look in the middle of the wheels : can u imagine the screwdriver neeed to fasten the wheels if this was not a model ?
