Hello everyone,
I'm looking to buy a Nikon 5T and 6T. Photography stores around town are telling me that Nikon has stopped making the 6T and have to order the 5T. I was considering buying the Mcon40, but it cannot be combined with other lenses as it does not have front threads. Does anyone know where I get these lenses, or have other suggestions? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

since you'll have to use an adapter for either of those in any case, why not consider the 3T and 4T? they're the same diopter respectively as the 5T at 6T, but 52mm instead of 62, so you'd just need a 58-52 step-down ring instead of a 58-62step-up adapter. i believe the 3T and 4T are still readily available, and should do the job just fine. they're cheaper as well. you might risk a little vignetting at 1 or 2x zoom, but who uses 1x with a 6T anyway? kinda defeats the purpose!
