The FZ50in my opinion is going to be a winner. Photogs have been asking for better results at higher ISO's The FZ50, although I have only shot for a short period looks verygood.
Great job Panasonic! Samples here:http://www.pbase.com/eddiewilliams/panasonic_dmcfz50_ |

Wow! I've been waiting for the first FZ50 images - and I agree with Eddie, the FZ50 looks killer. I can't wait to get mine!
Eddie, how about movie mode and (in particular) the audio capture? Any feedback? |

Stan - I think it's only fair to point out that, as eddieman makes clear on the site this image is linked from, this photo has been run through Neat Image. To me, it shows.
style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Granted, for ISO 1600, it's not too bad at all. I'd rather have a fairly noisy ISO 1600 than not have the option at allI guess. From what I see of the ones that were straight out of the camera, a little less aggressive NR might get better results. style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Keep those sample images coming guys! style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000" style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000" |

Hi eddieman! Is there any way we can get the originals for these photos? The largest ones I can find in your album are just 1 MP whereas the camera delivers a 10 MP image. A lot of sins can be hidden when reducing something by 10 in size.

Hi Jerry
Hmmm.. which of the FZ's did u take those with - the FZ10 or the FZ30 ? Love the colours and detail in those shots. Eddie What would be really cool is if you could link a SHQ jpeg, a SHQ jpeg + no NR (if its possible to switch it off) and perhaps a RAW file from the FZ50. As an ISO 16000 shot its not bad at all, but what I'd really like to see is a low available light shot taken at say ISO800 & 400 as those would be the ISO levels that you'd really want to be able to use it. In good light just stick to ISO80 and you know your always going to get a knock out shot from the FZ's. Cheers HarjTT :O :| ![]() |
