I screwed up. Bought my son a wide angle teleconverter for his FZ30 for his birthday (with a sunpak flash). I read reviews and it seemed good enough. Scrwed up tho and not knowing the difference, I bought the wcon-07C which is a bayonet mount. It is brand new but they will not take it back. Is there some type of adapter to make a bayonet mount work with the 55mm threads ?
Is it so expensive I may as well just ebay this lens and start over ?

I do not think that would work, it may be possible that there is an attachment of some sort but the distance a WA lens sits from the camera is critical....I would make sure everyone knows the retailer will not take it back.
