fx01, iso200, 0ev, f5.6, 1/400s. Taking it to iso200narrowed the aperture and increased the dof.

Thanks for the comments. The sunlight was close to horizontal getting back to this ivy which is in the shade all but 15 min of the day. The stone was at iso200. If there is enough light iso200 works fine and gets some different tones. The smaller aperture has alot to do with it. The little size of the fx01 gets it into situations where a larger/normal sized camera goes with difficulty. With the headtone shot I was able to put the fx01 at arm's length from my body and low enough to the ground so as not to cast a shadow. No use for the lcd view finder except to quickly review the shot and check for composition. As with anything, you get better with practice. Of course, the OIS is all part of it. That and the Leica lens. Nice little camera!

That little camera in your hands seems to do wonders Fred! Love both pictures. I enjoy the way you manipulate light and composition. Thanks for sharing.

Fred, it appears you are the master of the FX01. I agree it is a super cam for its size, but using it as you do requires what some of us are striving for. Beautiful photos.. I too find that many graveyards offer interesting memorials to those who have gone before, I regret that with the modern graveyards of today, such beautifuls sights as in picture #1, are no longer.
