Although I was pleased to get shots of the Goldeneyes and the merganser earlier in the week, I was a bit annoyed that I had to zoom all the way and then crop due to the distance to the subjects. So yesterday I took pictures of a few more common and less shy birds.

Great shots! The 3rd picture the duck looks really upset.

those are good shots...I don't particulary liek seagulls but that is a good capture!!!

Thanks. All the water speckles are due to waves breaking on the ice and splashing him. It does not make for happiness.

He listed to the left for some reason.

Thanks. I thought about photoshopping out the leg of the other gull but figured it was not too distracting.

Nice captures. It sure does look cold there I feel sorry for the duck.
