Here's a green lynx spider that lives in my lemon tree. Amazing camouflage.
It almost looks like he's wearing a little toupee with eyes. |

I can see how it would be easy not to notice these guys unless you were looking for them. Very nice captures. I like the second one best as the background is not so bright it distracts.

Thanks for looking, Happy.
I agree that first one is a little harsh with the white background. I've been lucky to find this guy twice, but both time purely by accident. He kind of hard to photograph as he almost disappears in some lighting situations. |

whoa... killer shots! #3 is my favorite, but all are excellent! this little guy looks almost transparent... and those eyes! very nice work! were you using a close-up lens, or just the macro setting on your camera?

Looks like it is made of jelly. Great capture, especially the first shot.

Thanks, Rocky and Raghu.
These were all taken with the FZ-30 and Raynox DCR-150. I agree that his eyes are really amazing. At some angles they are as green as the rest of him. At other angles, they look black. He does look like he's made of jelly. It's almost hard to tell if he's green or transparent. I appreciate the comments! |
