![]() For the plane speed at 300 to 400 mph, you can freeze them at shutter speed 1/1000. Seem I don't need high speed camera such as 1/4000. |

I have just looked for Exif of her photos (canon 20D). F6.1, 1/2000, iso 400, 300mm. It's still possible for Fz30. Technicly

Why would you want to take pictures of airplanes at F6.1? This doesn't let much light in. Is it a compromise for DOF?
