Great shots. I love those macros of frozen plants. These came out perfectly. Unfortunately I won't get to shoot any such subjects with my FZ30 any time soon, living in Los Angeles. Here is a similar shot I took 3 years ago in Germany in my parents' backyard with my first digicam, a Kodak DX3900 (wow, that seems like generations ago...)

Great shots! I love the first 2, especially the second one.
As far as ice in Los Angeles, it isn't so difficult if you are willing to drive an hour later in January or February. |
