In my experience the blue tits and great tits don't hang around for long and are very difficult to capture. But the green finches and chaffinches are actually quite co-operative and do hang around for a while.
These shots were taken on aperture priority, set to 3.7 to blur the background (ISO 80). Shutter speeds varied across these shots from 1/250 to 1/500. I was fortunate in that it was a very bright, sunny day (not many of those so far this year!). Matt |
