And shoot the lovely winter scenes out the front window... experimented with various exposure times and was surprised to see they actually weren't too awful noisey. Hard to guess there was near total dark in the room just the highlites in the background, yet with a few second really gathered a lot of info...I could not make out any features on the bust at all from across the room with the naked eye. (the undressed eye sees best in the dark...who coined that term anyway?)

First was about 4 sec exposure now the scene out the back yard... (2 AM) 4 sec exposure + or -

make that 8", 6", and a couple 1/500 ths

well done, no real noise as they were nicely exposed. thats what it takes.
