Nice sharp pic! How close were you to the bird? Were you using any additional lenses or a tripod or anything? I have an FZ20 and I'm still not able to get very good bird pics, but hopefully with some practice...

Nice, really sharp
Would benefit from a little post production to lighten the image a little though, then it would really rock! ![]() |

Thanks Melissa.
I didn't use any additional lenses. Straight out of the camera as I don't have any software. I'm new to digital photography. I just bought my FZ30. I was approximately 16 feet away from the bird feeder hiding behind the fence.Camera on tripod. All settings on "auto", full zoom. Emmanuel |

Thanks beesey,
I don't have any software yet. I have ordered PSP. The picture that I have in my computer (5 mp)is clearer than the one posted. It seems to me that the picture has degraded when it was resized/posted. Is that possible? |

When you reduce the image for posting it usually needs to be re-sharpened. Also, there are two ways to post multiple images.
1. You can provide links to images hosted on another website. 2. You can reply to yourself and post another image. If you do this, it's a good idea not to post more than 2 or 3 images as some of the forum members from around the world have slow Internet connections. Hope this info helps. |
