Hi all,
Here is a series of pics I took with my FZ30 of some spiders. All but the last two are from my yard. The first oneis an early shot I took awhile back of a baby in it's nice neat web. |

The next three are of a Crab Spider (I think that's what it is). It's really quite unusual looking and is only about the size of a pea.

This one was only about the diameter of a pop bottle cap (including her legs).

Here is the same kind of spider as above only from a different view.
Thanks for looking and if you have any suggestions or comments, please feel free. I'm just learning and need all the help I can get. :? I hope you enjoyed. Teree  |

Teree,
Spiders, particularly on those on spiral webs, are a little difficult to photograph. One usually ends up focussing/highlighting either the spider or the web.A close shot would show the spider in full detail but the web design is lost. A log shot would show the web but the spider would barely be visible. That is what is seen in your first 4 shots. The last one, however, is different and a good one too. Good effort. Keep going. Nice shots and nice Spiders
![]() but they are a little bit noisy or artefacted ? I have just read your EXIF-Data, and I think you can optmize this (ISO 100 is OK) Have you ever tried the Pict.Adjust-Settings on your Cam to: Contrast: STD (your Setting:High) Sharpness: STD (your Setting:High) Saturation: STD (your Setting:High) I got the same problems with my FZ20 and after setting all of them to STD, its OK. greetings to Florida Klaus |
