Actually looks like they are ignoring each other. Nice shot, good detail.

cute!it does appearthere may have been a recent argument between those two though . Looks like you have a nice collection of cacti / succulents going there also. They're lovely when they flower too - any shots of them? !

Is this the australian version of the danish porcelain dogs?
If theses dogs - always standing close to the windows - donĀ“t look at each other, there is "something" wrong with the emotions of the owners.....
... you are lucky not to be the owner of these birds :-)

nice picture

LOL 2 Amigo's was a bit toungue in cheek .....actually MAgpies tend to be solitary birds, these 2 guys are not full grown and still dont have the white feathering and plump look of a full grown bird they are hungry tho' and will feed from your hand,
Suze yes lots of Cactii and Succculents (Ecevearia Succulents) none are flowering atm its only start of spring herer, this is my Mothers garden she propogates Cactii and Succulents for fund raising for MS aid
Here is a larger view of the window box last summer which doubles as a perch ;)

There is so much to photograph there eh, JB ?

The pic with the birds facing away from each other is striking.

I don't know if the effect would have been even better if the pic had been taken frontally... but it reamins a great shot (and a bit of luck is always welcome, for sometimes you one can get more than expected by some shots).

Actually it must be painful for you to leave your FZ1v2 for the younger FZ30.
I hope it's worth, but I will go on with my FZ20 which I have bought only last December, hoping FZ40 won't delay past 2006
