OK this is exactly 46 ft thru a storm door and with the Raynox2020 pro.
It also is about the best photo I got from about 30 tries or so with that lens...I am just not a big fan of that lens especially with the FZ cameras. And its a little larger bird than you probably wanted but the chicadees would not sit still long enough. I thought I was going to have a couple good Grackle photos but they are blurry. |

And then if I would have got a little better photo in the first place this crop would be well within reason.

hi all Hope you don't mind me butting in Genece but here is a tip i found in a book by scot kelly.
It's ideal if you have over or underexposed pics. sometimes it works sometimes not but i thought i'd share it anyway here goes Open pic in photoshop press CTRL and J this will make a copy of your pic in the Layers Pallet then under the Layers tab in the Layers Pallet change Normal to Multiply if the pic is overexposed or change normal to screen if its underexposed you can keep pressing CTRL and J until you get the desired exposure. here is bayourebel's pic after creating one layer and adding multiply |

That is a very neat way to fix an overexposed photo as screen can fix an under exposed photo.....If either of those overdo what you wanted you can adjust the opacity.
One other thing always work on a copy of the original. |

Hey, that is neat. I tried it in Elements 4 on the original and got pretty much the same results. So thanks to you to Wadge1, and to Genece, I have downloaded all the available workbench lessons. I will start going through them and continue to monitor that site for updates.
As a cajun would say, Merci Beaucoup! |
