6 1/2 month effort (Fox Hunt)
Last January I decided I wanted to do a photo gallery of the animals in the Chama, New Mexico Valley. The 1st list I made up of potential animals had a fox. Every list I have made since had a fox until today. I used both of my camera set -ups for this series. Todays Fox Hunt Where I found them - Using my binoculars. The insert photo is after I got closer. ![]() Slow but sure I did get a little closer. ![]() Close enough, its time for some close ups. ![]() ![]() ![]() roger (The Old Newbie) FZ 30, Nikon TCE17, QuikAim Max RDS, Zeiss Digiscope/Sony W7 |

Nice shots Roger!!! You had to really work at getting this series didn't you? They don't say sly as a fox for nothing.

Jerry: "very foxy series" damn you are good with words. Thanks for looking and the nice comment.
Don: "You had to really work at getting this series didn't you? They don't say sly as a fox for nothing." "You had to really work at getting this series didn't you?" Yes it did take a lot of time but it was fun not work. "They don't say sly as a fox for nothing" You nailed it. They are very difficult. I have seen numerous foxes since January and today is the first time I was able to get any kind of decent photo. Thanks for looking and for the kind words. roger (The Old Newbie) FZ 30, Nikon TCE17, QuikAim Max RDS, Zeiss Digiscope/Sony W7 |

Hi genece,
If you like the series I know I got lucky and got a few good ones. I have really enjoyed your Alaska trip photos. Sorry for you that your wife took over your FZ 30. Thank you for taking the time to look and comment. roger (The Old Newbie) FZ 30, Nikon TCE17, QuikAim Max RDS, Zeiss Digiscope/Sony W7 |

This is a great series. I love your nature shots. I love the fourth one where it looks like he is staring right at you and asking what you are doing there. Thanks for taking the time to post the series!!!!
