It is my guess you want to add the lens to a FZ5 or 30......if that is so the wcon08B has 62 mm threads so you want a 55mm to 62 mm stepup ring.

Thank's. It's for the FZ30. Is that good enough or is there a thinner one or is that even necessary?

Stepup rings are all made pretty much the same (about the same thickness)....not true for stepdown rings. That said Kenko usually gets credit for thin rings.
I got a stepup ring from Lovelife ...he calls it a TRing ...its very thin but I am not sure its necessary but if you Email him he has most likely tested it with the Wcon08 http://cgi.ebay.com/Telephoto-W-Angl...QQcmdZViewItem |

Hmm I was told all stepping rings were created equal. I hope the 55mm->52mm step down right I got for my Nikon 4T will work, it was the only one they sold on the site. :/

That should make no difference with a macro lens ...but some stepdown rings are very thick.
The kenko is among the thinest and while that can be good they are not as sturdy and can get bent.....also if they get stuck on the lens they can be very difficult to remove because they flex too much. But thats another story. |
