An inexpensivexmas gift for my FZ5 came in the form of a Quantaray 6x screen-filter I picked up at Ritz Camera yesterday for $14. Thanks to B'mom for the tip and a Merry Christmas to all.

Very nice. I've been thinking about getting one of these filters. It really enhances the lights.

It looks like there's a laser battle going on in your tree. Is there some way to get the flares to connect to the light sources? Do different aperture settings or shutter speeds affect the result?
