After the Storm - FZ40

Well, day 2 of owning an FZ40 and I took it with me to work. A massive storm came through and I got some shots through the office windows, as well as across the river on the way home. Any help would be appreciated, as I'm very new to this:

Very pretty shots! The first one is very dramatic. I love the colors on the second.

Thanks Saly - there was definitely some nice light happening as the storm cleared.

Nice shots Mick,

They do appear a little dark, ( to me ) and I've been experimenting with the Exposure compensation in P-Mode. For these shots I would have tried the auto bracket feature, which will give you 3 shots in succession where you can set the parameters.

Also I find with images like this that it pays to take a few shots at up to 1 stop over & under just to see the different effects you can achieve.

Well done

Pat
