went up to the Mt. Baker area, near the Canadian border, today, and of course i took my FZ20 along. :G it clearly doesn't have the dymamic range ofa DSLR, but imust say, it's holding its own compared to my 30D in terms of the number of "keepers", including these...

Gosh, I've said it before, but doggone if you don't have some of the best photographic scenery, and you do master it. Splendid views. While most of us become complacent with our own backyards (surroundings), they are beautiful to those who have never been there. Thanks for sharing some of your wonderful scenery with us.

![]() While all the pictures are terrific I have to stay with #2 because I love the way the left/right frame keeps you walking right into the picture, never letting you stray from your goal:all the way up throughthe pools of water to get at that mountain in the background. It's a Long hike of course but the framing makes it worth it. Good stuff. |

Squirll
Damn fine shots as always. I have to go with Andy on shot 2 - with the way it leads your from the bottom pool in the shot up to the second and the mountains in the background. Like yourslef and some of the other guys and gals I've picked up a DSLR to sit with my FZ10 and I did my first shoot with the Oly today. The FZ's definetly does the business (althouigh the WB problem is a pain in the butt) and the lens on the FZ is just tack sharp - which shows in all the pics that have been posted on the forum. Cheers HarjTT :? ![]() |

Excellent shots, squirl. Really hard to pick a fav. Do you mind posting some of the EXIF data (particularly speed, fstop, ISO, WB and metering mode)? I bought the FZ20 about 3 months ago and although the quality of my photos has improved, I'm far from what you and other people obtain out of your FZ20s. Thanks.

The standard of posting on this forum is so high that most of us repeat the words, amazing, fantastic and etc.
Not this time however, I'll just echo bayourebel Fred |
