NormallyI don't like add on filters - must be the old fogey in me!. But that emboss effect makes a fairly ordinary picture into something special.
I immediately tried the emboss filter from PE4 on a similar scene, but all I achieved was a silver/grey engraving...Fred |

Looks good, gives the picture almost a 3/D effect. I think if you like the effects of a certain filter...stay with it regardless of what anyone else thinks ! Jim

Good composition. (The line of thirds rule really works here) and for me, the application of the filter is a winner.
