Which battery packs are good for Lumix FZ-10. I know CGA-S002A/1B Lithium Ion Battery is Panasonic one, but I found also S0000 Lithium Ion Battery. Will it be good :?:

The battery being sold by Eagle Imports on Ebay is reasonably priced and has been good for me.

I just bought a Lenmar from Amazon for 32.99 shipped. It works just like the original.

If you go Ebay, watch out for the batteries from Hong Kong Ebay users -- I didn't have much luck with those, even though they are listed as "genuine" Panasonic batteries. The one I bought wouldn't hold a full charge, and the seller required me to ship it back to Hong Kong for a replacement. I ended up spending so much money on shipping that I would've been better off just purchasing the genuine Panasonic battery off the Panasonic website! www.Batterybarn.com offers a battery that's a little more expensive, but Battery Barn is a top-notch battery source and can be worth the extra money. They're prices also include Priority shipping, so it's not that much more expensive in the end. |

I purchased two batteries for 19.95ea. plus 6.00 shipping for a total of 45.90. I received them in 2 days! The first battery charged just fine. The second one wouldn't fit in the charger or camera?? I called eagle and they sent a call tag out right away so I wouldn't have to pay for the return shipping. Very good customer service!! I just sent it out today and am waiting for the replacement.

It seems that if some of these so-called "compatable" batteries are deficient in any way, it is the way they fit in the camera cavity. I had a Canon where the battery actually got stuck in the camera and I had a devil of a time getting it out. If it goes in OK, the other concerns are usually not significant and it's a good value.
