hi there,
does anyone know whether cga s006 and cga s006e are good replacements for the original cgr s006e on the fz50 - they seem to work! although the cga s006 is 7.4v rather than 7.2v - does this matter? i purchsed these as backup for my fz30 - and have continued to use them in the fz50 - am i storing up a problem? any knowledge appreciated. mike |

There are lots of 3rd party batteries working in Panasonic cameras.....I used to use them but I have stopped......the only reason for that was that I find the life expectency of the 3rd party batteries to be much less than the OEM's, and I had 2 of them swell and get stuck in the cameras......when that happened they seemed close to exploding, which would have been costly.
But to answer your question , I do not think you are hurting anything, if they do not explode. |
