Beautiful pictures Indiawala. The second picture is spectacular. Is it a sunset or sunrise?

Thanks for your comment Macnite...this is a sunset. I was staying on the cliff side of the island...which faces such its a great place for atmospheric sunsets (unfortunately when i was there..there weren't too many clouds in the sky)

WOW! Very nice photos. I am amazed at the clarity of the first one. Beautiful job.

Did you take these with a Panasonic? Did you need a special telephoto lens for the city shot?

to the question of what camera it is that I use, its the good old FZ20. The first shot had a polarizer attached to it, but thats about it.

Its a panorama stitched together using panasonic's software that comes with the FZ's. Here is another shot (a panorama) taken of the city Athen's from atop the Acropolis.

All I can say is WOW! Really amazing photo. I can't believethe city picsare panoramas.They're seamless. You did a wonderful job on these. The clerity is amazing to me. Thank you for sharing camera info and lens. A polorizing filter... hmmm I definately need to invest in one of those. I like what you did. Thanks for sharing your beautiful pictures.

All the pictures are very, very nice. Particularly the avatar. It just goes to showsome places are waitingfor photographers to happen by.:-)
