After a couple of weeks of utterly awful weather, I managed to get out after work today and capture the wild flowers near the Mont Saint Michel. Even managed to get a few insects. Shot in macro mode/no close up lens used. Please feel free to provide advice and feedback.

Really nice shots, Diane! Love the colors and composition. Not sure why but the last one really appeals to me. The little guy is cute and fuzzy!!

Hello DyaneG,

Great colorful shots. I believe if you use a bit higher ISO or exposure, the images will be pop up more.

Thanks for sharing....:cool::cool::cool:

Nice looking Bee shots. Those had to be hard shots to lock focus on. Well done.

Really nice colors the two last ones are looking so good. I think its this yellow tone that make them look appealing to the eye

Hi Everyone, thanks for the support and for the advice. As most of you know here I dont have much luck with insects - the are just too quick for me. I am now convinced that French insects are permanently on "speed". This chap and his pal in the background were hard to keep track of for sure. Not sure who did more flitting around - me or the bee !!:D

Nice to see you bee-ing busy Dyane :p

Hard to pick my choice, not criticising you, but like UJEFROCNROL said, these failed to 'pop' and I think you were unlucky because the sun went in (no shadows seen). Still, they are far better than that I can achieve.... few bees or butterflies in our garden at the moment

You are correct young man - the sun had gone in, it was just typical as it had been nice all day whilst I was working ........ then lo and behold it clouds over as soon as I step out with the camera !!
