At least it was for me, as to my joy I found the arrival of these delicious little berries in the market today. Known here as jujube, these are eaten raw or with salt-chili mix and greatly help digestion.

Thank you Catalex and JJ. JJ- these fruits are a mix of sweet and sour, mostly sour, that is why generally salt-and-chili-powder is added for taste. A minor percentage is more on the sweeter side, but you get to relish it only when you bite - you can't tell from the outside.
