Big Horn Sheep (Stubbornness Prevails)
I think my FZ30 is in DUMB mode - It just didn't do well in picking the right spot to set up to get the sheep photos. The Cliffs I go to are about 30 miles from my place. The Sheep and I played tag for 3 trips. I would find them with my binoculars and then pick where I wanted to wait for them. The 3rd trip they finally showed up where I wanted them. This time the weather was much better. The first time it was very overcast and a little rain. I am sure these are the same three Rams I got some pictures of a few weeks back. Link to original photos: http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...mp;forum_id=23 I am condensing all my photo galleries into one site since I just don't have time to keep them all up-dated. The reason you see SAMPLE across the photo is I am using photos that are on one of my commercial sites. I am not trying to sell any photos here on the board that is why there are no links to my web site. 3 For Dinner ![]() What is that strange noise??? ( Camera Shutter ) ![]() Coming out of the woods to eat Plus a close up. ![]() Finally they came out of the woods. ![]() Red Berries for dessert ![]() All three having dinner ![]() TOTALLY WACKY roger FZ 30, Nikon TCE17, QuikAim Max RDS, Zeiss Digiscope/Sony W7 |

Roger, as always you have nice wildlife photos. Great captures. I am glad you ex-plained the word sample, before I started perusing your posts.
Jerry. P.S. The trip west is beginning to look iffy. Health problems in wife's family. Very hard to make any plans. |

Nice series Roger. ALL are very nice shots.
When do the leaves start to turn around Chama? I am thinking about a trip to your area if the wifes new knee gets in shape to do so. Looks like there would be a nice show of Fall colors there. Don |

Don thanks for looking and commenting. On a normal year the best color is around the last week of September going into the first week of Oct. This has been a strange year as far as weather and all the old timers are telling me colors will be at least 1 week early this year.
If you do get out this way make sure you stop by and if you have time we can try to get out and fill a couple of memory cards. TOTALLY WACKY roger FZ 30, Nikon TCE17, QuikAim Max RDS, Zeiss Digiscope/Sony W7 d-sr wrote: Quote:

Don, My place is at 8,000 feet. I drove up on the pass today it is 10,000 feet and the Aspens are just starting to loose their green look. My guess is about two more weeks. One thing to remember is because we have areas from around 7,000 feet to about 10,500 feet there should be good color somewhere for about 3 weeks once it gets started.
I hope this helps. TOTALLY WACKY roger FZ 30, Nikon TCE17, QuikAim Max RDS, Zeiss Digiscope/Sony W7 |
