hi guys, i think the moon is at its brightest and largest tonight (or so they said on the news channel)

Is anyone going to photograph it tonight?
im going to try to get a couple of good pictures which i'll post in this thread later on. (if the clouds go away)

But with it being full, it just looks flat.

Any suggestions for getting a sharper image of the moon?
all might seem to be blurred and out of focus lately,
i photograph it hand held with at least 1/150 shutter, auto focus.

also, does anyone know where i can get a (cheap) adapter to connect my FZ20 to a telescope?
i've already looked on scopetronix.com and they charge $120 for their one, and a further $70 or so for the adapter to connect that adapter to a telescope.

Any help much appreciated

Cheers.

Might give it a shot later, if the clouds go away. That said due to its hight in the sky, it dosnt look that large, normally a moon in the lower sky looks larger (optical illusion I believe) and as you said its full, so no crater shadows etc.

Yes I went out tonight too, a bit cold at -1 but worthy doing since the sky was very clear, here is one I took with the TCON1.7 on, I have cropped it and a slight sharpening.

Ooops, put up the RAW version that went a little wrong, here is a better one!

Nice one, i hear the TCON's are good lenses, i've got a Raynox 2.2x lens, cant use it at anything below 6x zoom though :(
