Oregon Dark Eyed Junco
This first one is a female with mouth full of bugs to take back to her babies. She waited a very long time to make sure there were no other birds watching/following her. ![]() Another Junco bathing ![]() ![]() ![]() Western Tanager - very rare birds in my area. I saw two near a creek so I waited almost an hour. They came by about three times but they would fly away as soon as they saw me. I finally managed to take a few but not very good shots ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Simply fantastic birds saly . You bring the green eyed monster of envy out in me with every press of your shutter. Stunning creatures the likes of which I'll never see. Beautifully captured

Absolutely beautiful shots Saly. I envy that bathing birds - it's touching 40 here and even the tap water is hot. I am glad at least they enjoy the chill waters!

I am jealous. We only have the Slate-colored Juncos here. The first tanager shot does not show up for me, but I can see hin in the second one and he is a most bright fellow.
