I went to Canary Wharf today arriving on the river bus...my intention was to take pictures at dusk and after but being the amateur I am...I left my second battery home
So I mostly had to do with the ones I took in day light!

Canary Wharf is interesting as it does not look like any other part of London being modern and filled with high rise buildings including the Canary Wharf building itself which is the tallest buiding in Europe.

While being very interesting architecturally it does lack some "soul" as there is none of the feeling of other parts of London there. In the underground shooping areas which are underneath all the builldings it feels like you are in Singapore as it is all so sterile.

Security is very heavy there and I was stooped taking pictures of one of the buildings (HBSC buiilding) by a security guard wh was convinced I was taking photos of their security cameras....He told me it is not possible to take any close-ups of any buildings there....He also told me to forget about using a tripod as that would be seen as very suspicious. It is a bit like visiting a police state I must say....
