Canyon Wren
1 Attachment(s)
This critter was living under our cabin in the mountains of New Mexico. When the sun came out and it warmed he would make laps arround the cabin finding things to eat in the logs. To get a close picture I just had to sit on the deck and wait for him to get close enough for a good picture.

Lovely shot of a handsome little bird... :)

Do you think your D 90 is going to be redundant shortly or are you still using it?.
I notice you have noise -1, sharpness +1, contrast +1, saturation 0, I take it there isn't a brightness setting? You've obviously experimented to get to these settings. Nice picture by the way. |
Well taken, love to watch Wrens.

One of the things I found is I really am using the Lumix for mp4 videos. I have video of my 4yr on grandson at ski school taken at 50+ yards away with some pretty good results. |
It looks like we think along the same lines.
I love my D5100 for low light but the Panasonic would be so much lighter to carry around all day. |
Great shot! I know these birds are very hard to photograph.
