Hello you all. I so regret getting out of touch. I have been missing some really outstanding macro shots and other great photos that have been posted in this forum. I have had some personal distractions, health and what not and so spend most of my time on my blog.

Here are a few things from my part of the world. We still get fairly cool days here and so bug hunting is still very much intermittent. I am still appreciating the Panasonic FZ5 and generally use the Raynox 250 for bugs and the Canon 240 for flowers. I hope you enjoy.

Do you have any idea what the bug in #3 is? I shot something that looked alot like that but I haven't been able to ID it.

Beth, a very nice and well done series. I also like #8 and the sparrow best.

Terrific series. Very dramatic poses on a couple of those bugs. Particularly "jaws". Also loved the simplicity of "an anemone for mother's day".
